Welcome to Snowcrest Riders
2010 Trail Permits are now available!!!!
Snowcrest Riders Snowmobile Club is gearing up for the 2010 Season.
BIG NEWS for 2010: For those of you who enjoyed the 4.5 km of road running on Doe Lake Rd. (D-Trail), you won’t be able to do that this season. Snowcrest Riders funding application for Federal Government Fund and matching Provincial Funding was approved. As a result we are very pleased to announce that we will be replacing the bridge over Beaver Creek. The in-water work is scheduled to be completed by October 1 and the 240 foot steel bridge is to be constructed by December 1, 2009. We have some brushing and tree clearing to do, but after four years of trail closure, we expect this section of trail to be re-opened this season!!!!
On-Line Permit Sales: Permits are now available on-line. Use this direct link from the Snowcrest Riders web site to purchase 2010 Permits on-line through the OFSC. Please read the Online Permit Purchase FAQ. Please note that the OFSC has imposed a $10 fee when using the on-line service to cover shipping & handling costs for the first permit ($2 for each additional) .
Classic Permits: Introduced for 2010, snowmobiles 15 years or older are now eligible to purchase the Classic Permit for $125.00. These permits are only available from the District offices. Snowcrest Permits will be available at the District 7 Office at 1 Robert Dollar Drive in Bracebridge. We hope you continue to support Snowcrest Riders by asking for and purchasing a Snowcrest Riders Classic permit at the District 7 Office.
